Florence
The home of the Italian Renaissance, saw the light here with its most important artists: Leonardo Da Vinci, Giotto, Brunelleschi and Michelangelo to name but a few. So come and admire their works live: the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi’s dome, Michelangelo’s David, the Uffizi and the fascinating Ponte Vecchio. An atmosphere of yesteryear in a city on a human scale. And remember to go and touch the nose of the piglet in the Mercato Nuovo: it brings good luck!
Rome
Rome Caput Mundi was how the ancients defined the eternal city. Capital of the largest empire in the Mediterranean area, you will find many vestiges of Roman times such as the Colosseum, the Forum, the Pantheon and the ancient streets. But also the splendid Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona, the Vatican and its museums and the Sistine Chapel. And don’t forget the typical restaurants of Trastevere!!!
Naples
‘See Naples and then die’. It is to Goethe that we owe the famous statement that has spread throughout the world to describe the beauty of Naples and its sun. In the shadow of Vesuvius and in the middle of a beautiful bay where the famous islands of Ischia and Capri rise, Naples is a colourful and effervescent city, experienced by the friendly Neapolitans in the city streets full of small shops and local artisans.
Three different culinary experiences, three ways of interpreting cuisine in the three cities covered by the itinerary. In Florence, you cannot miss pappa al pomodoro, ribollita or bistecca alla fiorentina, Rome without carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe or gricia would not have the same charm, and the Neapolitan pizza, only here can you enjoy its perfection.
